Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 9, 2026
This policy covers faceless-channel, a private tool that runs on its owner's computer and publishes the owner's videos to the owner's own YouTube channel. The owner is the only user.
YouTube API Services
faceless-channel uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. How Google handles data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What data it accesses
With the owner's permission, granted through Google sign-in (OAuth), the tool:
- uploads videos, thumbnails and caption files to the owner's channel;
- updates the owner's channel description, keywords and banner image;
- reads basic details and statistics (views, likes, comment counts) of videos on the owner's channel.
It doesn't access other users' data, private messages, contacts, or any channel other than the owner's.
How data is stored
The sign-in token, video IDs and video statistics are stored only in files on the owner's own computer. Nothing is sent to any server operated by faceless-channel, because there is none. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.
Other services
To make videos, the tool sends text it writes itself, not YouTube data, to the AI writing service (Anthropic), the voice service (ElevenLabs) and free image libraries (Openverse and NASA). Each service handles that text under its own privacy policy.
Removing access and data
The owner can revoke the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can delete all stored data by deleting the tool's folder on their computer. Google also lets you manage your data through its privacy settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
Contact
Questions can be sent through the contact options on the owner's YouTube channel.
